Need a car seat but think you can’t afford one? You can’t afford not to have a car seat!
If your child was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash, the medical bills would mount into
thousands of dollars. One day in a typical intensive care unit costs at least $2,000!!
If stopped by a law enforcement officer for violation of Oklahoma’s Child Restraint Law, one ticket
would cost between $50 plus court costs, estimated at about $160 (effective November 1, 2005).
