CPS Certification Class
This class is geared toward primarily people who will use this information on a regular basis. If you only deal w/ child safety seats on an occasional basis, this class is probably not appropriate for you. Experience has shown us that without being involved in CPS regularly, skills are not maintained and knowledge is not retained. By using this information on your job, or volunteering at child safety seat check-ups and classes, skills and knowledge can be retained. The one-day introductory class is strongly recommended as a prerequisite for this class. Upon successful completion of this class – which includes attendance at all sessions, passing the written test, and passing a “hands-on” installation test – you will receive certification papers through the National SAFE KIDS Campaign, the certifying agency. Cost of the class is $50, and the cost of the two-year certification is $60.
Training is scheduled in Oklahoma City, June 7-10, 2005
